Design a konstrukce

Trup plachetnice Commander 31 je vyroben z laminátu s balzovým jádrem ve formě sendviče. Tato konstrukce zlepšuje vnitřní klima na palubě, ale vyžaduje zvláštní péči v místech, kde musí upevňovací prvky nebo kování prorůstat jádrem. Bianca stavěla tento model i v jiných loděnicích mimo domácí dánské závod a loď byla nabízena s různými variantami kýlu, včetně ploutvového kýlu. S hlubším ploutvovým kýlem se ponor pohybuje přibližně mezi 5,45 až 5,75 stop v závislosti na zatížení, což umožňuje vjezd do většiny marin; verze s mělkým ponorem má ponor pouhých 3,71 až 4,01 stopy, což otevírá cestu i do velmi mělkých přístavů. Výtlak je téměř 7 715 liber s hmotností litinové zátěže kolem 3 525 liber, což představuje poměr zátěže k výtlaku 46 %. Ubytování

Pod palubou nabízí loď místa na spaní pro šest osob a je vybavena kuchyňkou a toaletou, které jsou stejně jako u mnoha jejích současníků dokončeny v mahagonu. Vnitřní objem podpořený šířkou 2,68 metru (8 stop 8 palců) činí uspořádání se šesti lůžky praktickým a nikoli stísněným pro loď této délky. Samostatné WC a vyhrazená kuchyňka ji řadí mezi plnohodnotné obytné plachetnice, nikoli mezi minimalistické interiéry víkendových závodních lodí.

Známé problémy

Vzhledem k tomu, že v trupu je jako sendvičový jádro použita balsa, jakákoli práce vyžadující průnik do sendvičové konstrukce vyžaduje zvláštní opatrnost, aby se předešlo poškození jádra nebo zatékání vlhkosti. Kupující nebo majitel by měl věnovat zvláštní pozornost průchodkám trupu, šroubům úchytů vantů a dodatečnému kování při utěsnění jádra proti vodě. (1)

Verdikt

Commander 31 je promyšleně specifikovaný dánský cruiser z konce šedesátých let od projektantů Hansen a Kjærulff, který nabízí verze s mělkým i hlubokým finkýlem, možnost výběru oplachtění a mahagonový interiér se šesti lůžky. Její trup s balsovým jádrem vyžaduje respekt při každém průniku do trupu, ale parametry těžkého cruiseru a mírný výkon jí skvěle vyhovují pro pohodlnou pobřežní i vnitrozemskou plavbu.
