Shopping the used market for an Endeavour 37 means looking at one of the more common 37-foot cruisers of the late 1970s and early 1980s, with around 476 hulls produced from 1977 through 1983. Designed by Dennis Robbins and built by Endeavour Yacht Corp. in Florida, she is a shoal-draft, solid-laminate cruiser offered in sloop, cutter, and ketch rigs. Most used examples are sloop rigged, but the cutter and ketch were offered, and a bowsprit was added on some to extend the foretriangle.
Layouts on the Used Market
Two interior plans appear on the brokerage trail. Plan A replaces the forward berths with a large U-shaped dinette and keeps a split forepeak for ground tackle and sails, with a midships head, sideboard galley, and two aft double quarter berths. Plastic Vetus hatches are known to craze and drip. Note V-berths too short for tall sailors and any cramped aft-cabin ventilation. No structural problems with oilcanning or bulkheads were reported by owners.
