The Veno 108 is a distinguished Scandinavian cruiser that emerged from the Danish boatbuilding tradition of the late 1970s and early 1980s. Produced by Veno Bådebyggeri, a yard known for its robust construction and attention to timber joinery, the 108 represents the flagship of the Veno line. At approximately 35.5 feet (10.8 meters) in length, it was designed to handle the demanding, shortchopped conditions of the North and Baltic Seas. Unlike the massproduced Mediterranean cruisers of the same era, the Veno 108 was built in relatively small numbers, prioritizing structural integrity and longevity over production speed. It shares a clear design lineage with its smaller siblings, the Veno 88 and Veno 98, all of which utilize a similar aesthetic characterized by a moderate beam, a traditional profile, and a focus on heavyweather capability.
