The Mamba 33 is a quintessential representative of the Swedish boatbuilding boom of the 1980s, designed by Bengt Karlsson and produced by BK Marin AB (later Mamba Boats AB) in Forshaga. Introduced around 1985 as a larger, more refined alternative to the Rolf Magnussondesigned Mamba 31 and 34, the 33 was intended to capture the "performance cruiser" market.
