Shopping the used market for an Arcona 370 means considering one of roughly 80 boats drawn by Stefan Qviberg and launched as the second of Arcona’s new-generation cruisers. Surveyors have also found cracks around the keel where the flexible fibreglass hull distorted against the rigid frame. Because the lead keel absorbs shock and hides grounding evidence, any history of impact — one 370 hit a rock at 8.5 knots and returned to water after minor aft-keel repair — should prompt close hull scrutiny abaft the keel.
