The Swan 66 S represents a pivotal moment in Nautor Swan’s history, marking the evolution of the performance cruiser into a refined, semicustom yacht capable of crossing oceans with speed and grace. Designed by the legendary Germán Frers and introduced in the late 2000s, the "S" designation stands for "Saloon," distinguishing it from its sibling, the Swan 66 FD (Flush Deck). While the hull and performance parameters remain identical between the two variants, the 66 S features a slightly raised coachroof that provides increased interior volume and a protected social space in the cockpit. This model was conceived to replace the highly successful Swan 68, aiming to offer modern carbonreinforced construction and a more manageable sail plan for a smaller crew.
