Launched at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the secondgeneration Solaris 44 represents a watershed moment for the Italian builder Cantiere Serigi. Replacing its highly successful 2011 predecessor of the same name, this model reflects a major leap in contemporary hull geometry and deck ergonomics. Designed by Argentine naval architect Javier Soto Acebal, the yacht discards traditional IRCfocused lines in favor of an aggressive hull inspired by modern shorthanded ocean racers. It was conceived to set a new benchmark in the luxury performancecruiser segment—blending the capability to compete at high levels in club racing with the manners, stability, and refined luxury required for shorthanded family cruising.
