The Saare 41 represents the foundational success of the Estonian shipyard, blending Finnish design heritage with highend Baltic craftsmanship. Designed by KarlJohan Strahlmann—the naval architect behind many Finngulf models—the 41 was initially conceived as a centercockpit (cc) bluewater cruiser but evolved into a versatile range including aftcockpit (ac) and specialized shorthanded versions. The model is built on the island of Saaremaa, a region with a centuriesold maritime tradition, and is often compared to highend Swedish brands like HallbergRassy and Najad. According to Saare Yachts, the original 41cc was the yard’s debut in 2008, followed by a second generation and the subsequent aftcockpit 41ac. The hull is a moderatedisplacement design built using vacuuminfused vinylester resin and a foam core, ensuring a stiff, lightweight structure with high resistance to osmosis.
