The Hanse 292 is a 29-foot performance cruiser built from 1995 to 1998, designed by Carl Beyer with Hanse Yachts and produced in Greifswald on the Baltic coast of what had been East Germany. She carries the same hull later used on the 300 and 301, with a slim balanced shape, a sizable rig for her narrow beam, and a tiller steered cockpit.
