The Allied Seabreeze 35 is widely recognized as a premier example of classic American boatbuilding. Designed by MacLear & Harris and built by the Allied Boat Company in Catskill, New York, the Seabreeze was conceived as a rugged, highly capable pocket cruiser that could sail anywhere in the world. Introduced in 1963, the model was heavily inspired by the legendary Sparkman & Stephensdesigned yawl Finisterre, which dominated the Bermuda Race under the Cruising Club of America (CCA) rating rule. In 1970, Allied updated the design with the introduction of the Citation version, represented from hull number 107 onward. The Citation modernized the cabin trunk and interior layout to better serve cruising families, transitioning the Seabreeze from a CCAera racercruiser into a dedicated longdistance coastal and bluewater passage maker. Often compared to the Hinckley Pilot 35, the Allied Seabreeze 35 Citation offers a similarly elegant profile and offshore pedigree.
