The JPK 39 FC (often referred to in the market as the JPK 40) represents the pinnacle of the "Fast Cruiser" philosophy established by JeanPierre Kelbert and designer Jacques Valer. Launched as the successor to the highly decorated JPK 38 FC, this model bridges the gap between a purebred IRC offshore racer and a longdistance cruising yacht. Built using advanced vacuuminfusion techniques with a foam core and vinylester resin, the boat is remarkably stiff and light, characteristics that have become the hallmark of the Lorientbased shipyard. The JPK 39 FC is designed for the sailor who refuses to compromise on hull speed and responsiveness but requires the interior volume and amenities necessary for extended coastal or bluewater voyaging.
