While the company gained fame for the hybrid motorsailers designed by Herb David, the Lancer 303 was a product of the legendary Canadian firm C&C Design. Introduced in 1979 as a successor to the Mark II—which was famously built from the original C&C 30 molds—the Mark III was refined for the American production market.
