The Great Dane 28 is a celebrated example of the "pocket bluewater" cruiser, emerging from a golden era of Danish yacht design. Conceived by Aage Utzon and commissioned by the legendary Klaus Baess, the vessel was designed to bridge the gap between traditional wooden aesthetics and the burgeoning technology of glassreinforced plastic (GRP).
