Launched in 2012 and designed by the late Polish naval architect Andrzej Skrzat, the Delphia 31 was conceived as a highly capable, categorydefining pocket cruiser that punched far above its weight class. Built by Poland's premier sailboat manufacturer, Delphia Yachts, the model represented a high point in the shipyard's sailing era before its eventual corporate pivot toward electric motor vessels. The hull and inner structural lining were so wellregarded that Jeanneau later acquired the moulds and design rights to rebadge the design, with minor deck and chine revisions, as the Sun Odyssey 319. Facing stiff competition from mainstream giants like the Bavaria Cruiser 34 and Beneteau Oceanis 30.1, the Delphia 31 carved out its market segment through superior structural robustness, premium interior joinery, and offshoregrade seaworthiness that few sub10meter production boats could match.
