The Oyster 461 is a refined evolution of the brand’s midsized bluewater offerings, bridging the gap between the rugged early designs of the 1980s and the contemporary era of the early 2000s. Launched in 1994 as a successor to the Oyster 45, the 461 was designed by the venerable firm Holman & Pye and remained in production until 2000. With approximately 15 hulls delivered, it is a relatively rare find on the brokerage market but remains highly sought after for its "goanywhere" capability and the classic Oyster Yachts deck saloon profile, which pioneered the concept of a light, airy living space within a secure, seaworthy hull.
