The Ovni 455 CC, produced from 2000 to 2007 by the legendary Alubat shipyard in Les Sablesd'Olonne, France, represents a sophisticated, goanywhere bluewater cruiser designed by the renowned naval architect Philippe Briand. Built on the success of the French yard's rugged aftcockpit models like the 435, the 455 CC (Center Cockpit) was conceived for the longdistance voyager seeking an ideal balance of safety, highvolume liveaboard comfort, and the ultimate utility of a lifting keel.
