Introduced in 1997, the CR 310 represents an exquisite blending of classic Scandinavian yacht building and the performancedriven design of naval architect Håkan Södergren. Built by CR Yachts (Charles Rutgersson Yachts) on the legendary island of Orust in Henån, Sweden, the model had a successful production run spanning until 2008. While Orust is internationally renowned as the birthplace of traditional, heavydisplacement cruisers from yards like HallbergRassy, Malö, and Najad, CR Yachts carved out a unique position under founder Charles Rutgersson. The shipyard focused on delivering the same elite level of joinerwork, robust fiberglass construction, and seaworthiness as its neighbors, but combined it with Södergren's fast, athletic, and modern hull shapes. The CR 310 represents the pinnacle of this approach: a compact, highquality cruiser that targets the sailor who refuses to sacrifice sailing speed for comfort, or vice versa.
