The Comar Comet 1000, designed by the prolific JeanMarie Finot and launched in 1977, stands as a cornerstone of Italian fiberglass yacht production. Built by the Forlìbased shipyard Comar (formerly Sipla), this 10meter cruiserracer was a departure from the narrowbeamed designs of the IOR era, prioritizing volume, initial stability, and a balance between competitive racing and family comfort.
