Introduced in 2009, the "FD" variant was specifically engineered to replace the aging Swan 601 and the previous Frers 60, emphasizing a cleaner aesthetic and a significant leap in construction technology. Built using carbon fiber SPRINT prepreg laminates and a sandwich core, the vessel was conceived to be exceptionally light and stiff, catering to owners who demand helming sensitivity alongside the amenities required for extended Mediterranean or Caribbean voyaging.
