While the original Moody 33 featured a separate aft cabin accessible only through the cockpit, the 33 S utilized the same robust hull but moved the cockpit aft, allowing for a contiguous and more spacious interior. Built by Marine Projects in Plymouth, this model bridged the gap between the rugged, motor-sailer leaning of the MK I and the more refined cruising performance of the later Moody 333.
