The Jongert 20s represents a definitive era of Dutch yacht building, serving as the "Sport" evolution of the shipyard’s renowned traditional ketch designs. Built primarily during the late 1970s and 1980s, the 20s (the "s" denoting the Sline or "Slim" profile) moved away from the heavy, clipperbowed "T" (Traditional) series toward a more streamlined, contemporary silhouette. Despite this shift toward a sportier aesthetic, the vessel remains a quintessential heavydisplacement bluewater cruiser, constructed with a robust steel hull and an aluminum superstructure.
