Launched into the European pocket cruiser market in 2010, the Focus 800 is a modern monohull that challenges the traditional compromise between raw sailing performance and domestic cruising comfort. Designed by the highly regarded Polish naval architect Jerzy Pieśniewski and built by Sobusiak Yacht Yard in Łódź, Poland, this 26foot vessel represents a refined evolution in trailerable yacht design. While many builders of the era leaned heavily into bloated, motorhomestyle hulls at the expense of sailing characteristics, or conversely produced spartan sportboats with uninhabitable cabins, the Focus 800 was conceived from the outset to bridge these two worlds.
