The MP 27 is a compact and robust monohull sailboat, originally conceived by the acclaimed Finnish naval architect Matti Pulli. As Pulli's inaugural design to enter serial production, the MP 27 represents a foundational vessel in his "MP" series, which gained recognition for designs tailored to the needs of Finnish sailors. Built by Länsivene Oy between 1973 and 1974, this 27-foot cruiser quickly established a reputation for its sturdy construction and capable performance in various sailing conditions. Only a limited number of these boats, specifically seven units, were constructed, making them a relatively rare sight on the water.
