The Alo 96 is a 31.33-foot monohull sailboat designed by Finn Møller and built by the Norwegian yard Alo Yachts between 1982 and 1987. It was conceived as a robust cabin cruiser with a fractional sloop rig, aiming to provide a capable and practical vessel for cruising enthusiasts. A motorsailer version, the Alo 96 MS, was also available, showcasing the builder's versatility. Alo Yachts, founded by Alf Josef Ortang, was known for producing sturdy and practical sailboats suited for challenging Scandinavian waters, a reputation the Alo 96 upheld as one of their final models.
