The Wavelength 24 emerged during the golden era of the Midget Ocean Racing Club (MORC) as a sleek, lightweight, trailerable racercruiser designed by the renowned naval architect Paul Lindenberg. Introduced in 1982 and built by the W.D. Schock Corporation, the model enjoyed an initial production run of 87 hulls through 1990, before being resurrected by the factory in 2005 to satisfy a dedicated class following 2. Characterized by long, clean lines free of the performancehampering hull distortions common to early rulebeating designs, the Wavelength 24 was engineered as a highperformance alternative to more traditional trailerable boats of the era, standing in close comparison to contemporary speedsters like the Santana 23D and early J/Boats.
