The Sovereign 32 (often marketed alongside its luxurytrimmed sibling, the Antares 32) represents the largest evolution of the design philosophy established by Dan Steeg and the Sovereign Yacht Co. during the 1980s. While the company gained fame for its trailerable pocket cruisers like the 7.0 and the "Hen" boats, the 32 was a departure toward serious, bluewater capable coastal cruising. Designed by naval architect Arthur Edmunds—who was instrumental in the early Sovereign fleet—the 32foot hull utilizes a traditional, heavydisplacement approach intended to provide a stable platform for Florida coastal hopping and Bahamas crossings.
