The Passport 44, designed by the legendary Robert Perry, represents a refined evolution in the lineage of semicustom performance cruisers built primarily at the Hai Yang yard in Taiwan. Conceived as a more spacious and faster successor to the celebrated Passport 40, the 44 was engineered to provide the increased waterline and interior volume required by modern offshore couples without abandoning the balanced, seakindly motion for which Perry is renowned. The vessel is almost identical to the Passport 45; the two models share the same hull mold, with the 45 simply incorporating an integrated swim platform at the transom to extend the LOA.
