Their Marlin Heritage 23 represents a direct evolutionary link to the legendary drawing boards of Nathanael G. Herreshoff and his son, A. Sidney DeWolf Herreshoff. Rooted in the lines of the iconic 1920s Herreshoff Fish Class, which was itself a larger sibling to the revered Herreshoff 12½, the Marlin first emerged in 1958 as one of the earliest production fiberglass hulls. In the decades since, the builder has carefully refined the design into the modern Marlin Heritage 23.
