The Leisure 27 SL represents the final evolution of Cobramold’s midsized cruising line, emerging in the late 1970s as a refined successor to the original Leisure 27. Designed by Frank Pryor, the 27 SL was engineered to maximize volume and stability within a sub30foot footprint, specifically catering to the demanding coastal conditions of the North Sea and the English Channel. Unlike its smaller siblings, which often served as entrylevel day sailors, the 27 SL was built as a serious coastal cruiser capable of extended offshore passages. The "SL" designation typically denoted a higher specification of interior finish and a slightly modernized deck molding compared to the earlier Mark I models.
