The Laser 13 is a versatile, multipurpose family dinghy designed by Ian Bruce, the visionary behind the iconic Laser singlehander. Introduced in the 1980s, the Laser 13 was engineered to bridge the gap between highperformance racing skiffs and traditional, heavy cruising dinghies like the Wayfarer. Unlike the athletic, capsizeprone nature of the Laser 2, the 13 was built with a wide beam and a more forgiving hull form, making it an ideal platform for sailing schools, families, and coastal explorers.
