Davidson, famous for his work on America’s Cupwinning hulls like NZL 32 ("Black Magic"), brought a sophisticated approach to the Dash 34’s underwater profile, resulting in a hull that is remarkably "slippery" and responsive. The boat was primarily marketed to sailors who prioritized speed and lightair performance, a necessity for the oftenfickle winds of the Salish Sea.
