The Condor 30 Tri is a rare, highperformance multihull that emerged from the late 1980s composite revolution. Designed by David Hubbard and Duncan MacLane—the engineering minds behind several successful America’s Cup and CClass catamaran campaigns—the Condor 30 was built by Condor Ltd. in Annapolis, Maryland. It was conceived as a "pocket" version of the highly successful Condor 40, a boat that gained fame for its dominance in offshore racing circuits like the OSTAR. Unlike many contemporary trimarans that utilized folding mechanisms for trailering, the Condor 30 was primarily built with a fixedbeam configuration. This choice prioritized structural rigidity and weight savings, allowing the vessel to maintain a massive beamtolength ratio that translates into exceptional stability and power.
