The Megabyte is a spirited 14-foot, 2-inch performance dinghy designed for single-handed sailing, particularly appealing to sailors seeking a more robust and powerful experience than smaller singlehanders. Conceived by the renowned Bruce Farr of Farr Yacht Design, the Megabyte was introduced to the sailing world and recognized as "Boat of the Year" by Sailing World in 2000. Production was initially handled by Performance Sailcraft, with Zim Sailing later taking on the mantle of both builder and distributor, especially from 2005 onwards.
