History and Design

The production of the Stur-Dee Iota commenced in 1986. However, its history is marked by a significant event that ultimately limited its availability. A fire at the Stur-Dee Boat Co. facility in 1986 caused substantial damage to the company's buildings and tooling, severely impacting the Iota's production run, 5].
