The Sly 38 emerged from the innovative spirit of Sly Yachts, a builder founded in 2005 by Sandro Franchini with the explicit goal of creating a new breed of yacht that harmonized racing pedigree with luxury cruising amenities. The company, which operated from the facilities of Cantiere del Pardo in Forlì, Italy, quickly established a reputation for its sophisticated blend of performance and comfort. For the design of the Sly 38, Sly Yachts once again collaborated with Studio Lostuzzi, a frequent partner also responsible for the lines of iconic models like the Sly 42 and Sly 47.
