History and Design

The Hanse 510's journey began with its introduction in 2023, marking it as one of the latest additions to Hanse's continually evolving fleet. Unlike many previous Hanse models primarily designed by Judel/Vrolijk & Co., the 510 was penned by the acclaimed design studio Berret-Racoupeau. This collaboration aimed to introduce "completely new space dimensions" to the 51-foot yacht segment, focusing on a spectacular new look and innovative hull shape. Hanse Yachts, founded by Michael Schmidt in 1993, has always prioritized combining strong sailing performance with ease of handling, even single-handedly, a principle clearly carried forward in the 510.
