The Sportlake 660 began its production run in 1999 under the Sportlake S.A. banner, continuing until approximately 2002 or 2003. During this period, Sportlake S.A., based amidst Poland's Masurian lakes, was in its foundational phase, driven by the Kot brothers' passion for sailing and a vision to create small, well-built sailing craft. This model specifically reflects their initial focus before the company officially rebranded as Delphia Yachts in 2003 and later shifted towards larger and ultimately electric vessels. The design by Jacek Centkowski aimed to deliver a boat that was both enjoyable to sail and practical for various sailing environments, including shallow waters, thanks to its innovative centerboard keel. Notably, the boat was also marketed as the Armour 660 by Saint Cast Marine and the Europa TS 240, indicating its broad appeal and multiple market presences during its production.
